The Eaglesham Angling Association has three brown trout waters, within 20 minutes of Glasgow. Picketlaw reservoir, Lochgoin and the Corsehouse reservoir all with boat and bank fishing.
Run by a committee of the members for the members, the Association has been operating for over 50 year to provide excellent fly fishing for brown trout.
The association is open to everyone through membership or by day ticket.
We also have a great community of anglers to get involved with.
News and events
The start of the season. I'm so excited.
On behalf of the committe may I wish you well in the coming season.
A heart felt thank you, to the many who turned up for the open day and to get the boats out. It was not the best conditions I have seen. Fly fishing in a blast chiller was how I would describe it. It wasn't 4 season in the one day, only one mid deepest winter.
Existing members who have still to pay should send their cheques to the Treasurer. Mr Rod Ross, 107 Ormande Crescent Netherlee. GLasgow G44 3SW.
Made payable to Eaglesham Angling Association.
For the 2018 rates click here
We will get a better system in place soon for paying directly into the account. But it a cheque for just now.
If any of the new members, who have paid, have not had your key, permit and parking pass. Let me know.
I now have some extra keys. For those who missed out.
Works will be starting at the Goin.
Work will start on the 5th March for 5 weeks.
The work is to replace the bridge across the overflow.
This will allow better and safer access as the bridge is in a poor state of repair.
There will be a small disruption to the car park while work is carried out and an alternative bridge will be in place during the works.

Fly tying classes I would like to thank members of the Totally Awesome fishing club for inviting us to their fly tying sessions. over the winter months It was a real learning experience even for seasoned fly tyers who have been doing it for years. The Eaglesham Angling Association has greatly benefited from the experience.
Our Three Waters
The smallest of our waters but still extending to 21 acres. It is very well stocked with good sized brown trout. It is the most accessible of our waters, being located on the outside edge of Eaglesham. It is the most sheltered of our waters. It has 2 boats housed in the boat house for members.
How to get there
This is the largest of our waters. It has 3 boats on a first come basis. With the the triple stocking, the high catch and release rates of members and visitors, 2018 is pointing towards another excellent season. From day one to the end of the season. Although brown trout take more skill to catch.
How to get there
Nestled just off the Stewarton Road. It is one of the quietest of our waters offering a slightly more sheltered fishing venue. The same successful triple stocking policy on the Goin will be extended to The Corsehouse, so should make for some exceptional fishing.
Corsehouse tends to produce the larger fish. It has the feel of a Scottish hill loch but not as far to drive. There are 4 boats available to members on a first come first served basis.
